Judicial Education Program
The Judicial Education Program is an annual event that provides federal and state judges with a review and critique of important and current civil justice issues. The event was held November 17 – 19, 2013 at George Mason University in Arlington, Virginia. Attorney R. Dean Hartley participated in a panel that discussed “Scientific Evidence in Environmental and Toxic Torts Litigation.” To date, over 4,000 sitting judges have participated in Mason Education Programs, and Attorney R. Dean Hartley is now privileged to have been included in this respected program.
Mr. Hartley and his fellow panelists discussed issues and answered questions related to matters such as the Daubert v. Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals case and scientific evidence for toxic torts litigation. Having handled countless toxic tort litigation cases, Attorney R. Dean Hartley had extensive knowledge and insight to offer during the panel discussion.
